"Dear Dad" is Daimon's moving tribute to his late step father Charles Rex. Their relationship was very strong, and he wanted to not only honor his step father, but step fathers around the world who take on the important job the Lord can offer. Daimon's daughter Destiny returns to film and direct, and like "the Road Home" video, uties Saltington for the backdrop. Scenes were also shot in Beltzville where Daimon's Step Dad was raised.
Making this video even more special is Daimon's younger brother MATTHEW lovingly portraying his Father. Matthew is a spitting image of his Father and creating the video was an emotional experience for both of us. In addition, Daimon's sons JARETH and JAIDYN protay him in his youth for the flashback scenes!
"I really feel my Step Dad was with us when we filmed. In fact, look for the butterfly tt literally fly across the entire screen during the Beltzville scene. I as holding the camera for that one and teared up instantly when saw that. All I could think was MY DAD's HERE!" (Daimon)

"The Road Home" is the first single off of my upcoming album THE ROAD HOME. I wrote the song for my beloved hometown of SLATINGTON, PA for the 150th Anniversary celebration of 2014. Originally released at the Kickoff event in August of 2013, this is the brand new studio version recorded at CAT HOUSE RECORDING with my amazing producer B.U. Thomas.
The video was filmed and directed by my very own daughter Destiny Phillips! Together, we headed down to SLATINGTON and visited all of the places that were most special to me. It was a magical fall day, and we were able to capture the beautiful landscapes among the autumn breezes and falling leaves. I truly hope you all enjoy it!
Light and Blessings,
