DAIMON PRICE is a contemporary Christian singer/songwriter, composer, and author who proudly resides in the Lehigh Valley, PA. Originally trained as a drummer, Daimon performed in several groups, including the Christian rock band KINGDOM in the 90's. However, musical artists such as THE CURE, JARS OF CLAY, JOHN MELLENCAMP, JUSTIN HAYWARD and JOHN LENNON inspired him to learn to play guitar and create his own music. Since then, Daimon has been performing with his current acoustic project PRICE & RICE, with his long time musical partner Stephen Rice, for the past 11 years. He recently released his second solo album NEW CREATION, the follow up to his first solo album THE ROAD HOME.

December 3, 2022: Daimon's brand new album NEW CREATION is here

It's been 7 years since Daimon's last album THE ROAD HOME, and after years of hard work, his brand new album NEW CREATION is finally here! Released on his 50th birthday (12-3-22), Daimon's new album is all Contemporary Christian music, with 9 original compositions and 1 cover song. The cover song, previously released on January 1st, 2022, is called “Our Day Will Come” by the amazing Celtic Rock band SEVEN NATIONS! The song has always been an inspirational and exciting tune, and Daimon was thrilled to have outstanding multi award winning, Lehigh Valley violinist, NYKE VAN WYK to play the explosive violin part!
The opening track, “Souls Align,” is an original that he co-wrote with his dear friend Mark Galiyano Jr, who created that fascinating guitar riff that plays throughout the song. The song also features Rose Dearing Price on Viola! Being a lifelong fan of THE CURE, Daimon pays tribute to their unique sound on the track “If You Believe,” a fun and pleasant little pop song about the everyday presence of God and Jesus. “Straight To The Lord” captures the excitement of finding Jesus and beginning the pathway into Christianity, and “Within These Walls” was written and dedicated to his church family at LIVINGHOPE LIGHTHOUSE in Palmerton, PA!
“His Way” is a fun little discussion between Daimon and a religious skeptic, in which Daimon not only professes his belief in Jesus, but proudly stands his ground! “Inside of Your Heart” is Daimon's belief of what our dearly departed loved ones are saying to us as we think of them and long for the days we were blessed with their presence.
“Forgive in Your Name” is the song Daimon has been longing to write ever since he heard the song “Heart of Worship.” He wanted to write a song that would stir emotion and remind people that no matter how much they may feel they don't deserve Christ's love, He is in fact right there with his arms tightly around you.
The album's title track “New Creation,” is about the often confusing aspects of first discovering God's love, by trying to interpret different religious doctrines, until ultimately realizing it's really about a relationship with yourself and God. The final track “Thunder and Rain,” was written by Daimon back in 1995, as a Gospel song that he always loved performing with his dear friend and longtime musical partner Stephen Rice. The song depicts God's' feelings when he looks down at a world that continues to struggle to find peace, and the constant denials of His existence. Guitar player BD Lenz performs a truly heartfelt and powerful solo that gives the song that extra emotion which makes it unforgettable.
The new album features many great musicians from the Lehigh Valley, such as Nyke Van Wyk, Dan DeChellis, BD Lenz, Stephen Rice, Rose Dearing Price, and Mark Gailyano Jr. What Daimon is most excited about is that his own son Jareth Price wrote and performed all of the bass guitar parts on the entire album!
Playing the drums, as well as acting as the album producer, local legend Kevin Soffera (Breaking Benjamin/Seether) brings his creative genius to the project via his own recording studio HYBRID STUDIOS!
