
BIOGRAPHY
Daimon Price is a Contemporary Christian singer/songwriter from the Lehigh Valley, PA. He is the Music Director at LivingHope Lighthouse Church in Palmerton, PA, and currently performs in the acoustic duo PRICE & RICE. His writing and playing style are heavily influenced by performers such as JOHN LENNON, THE CURE, JARS OF CLAY, JOHN MELLENCAMP, TEARS FOR FEARS, PETER CRISS, LIFEHOUSE, SIXPENCE NONE THE RICHER, MOODY BLUES, CHRIS TOMLIN and COLLECTIVE SOUL.
Since creating PRICE & RICE, Daimon has released 2 singles with the group, “Different Back Then” & “With Eagles Might.” He has also written and released an homage to his hometown of Slatington, PA with “The Road Home.” The song was released at the Slatington 150th Anniversary Kick Off event in August of 2013, and is the official theme song of the year long celebration.
On May 15th, 2015, Daimon released his first solo album entitled THE ROAD HOME, which includes the endearing tribute to his step-father, entitled “Dear Dad,” in addition to other songs inspired by his home, faith and family. The “limited edition” VINYL version (which also includes a free Digital Download Card inside the record jacket) is now available in local record stores, and digitally at Itunes, CD baby, and Amazon.
On December 3, 2022, Daimon released his second solo album NEW CREATION, on his 50th birthday. A labor of love, the album is all Contemporary Christian songs, celebrating his love for Jesus and the many benefits of having faith in the Saviour. It includes the powerful ballad “Forgive In Your Name,” the delightful pop song “If You Believe,” and the Gospel blues/rock song “Thunder & Rain,” which is also features his longtime music partner Stephen Rice.
Daimon has appeared with his band on WFMZ Music Monday (7-1-2013), been featured in the Morning Call’s “Band of the Week,” and also appeared on the main stage at Penn's Peak for the 2015 Dream Come True Telethon. He has received multiple nominations from the Lehigh Valley Music Awards with 3 for LVMA 15, 5 for LVMA 17 and 5 for LVMA 18, including the WINNER for "OUTSTANDING CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN ARTIST of 2016, 5 for LVMA 19, 1 for LVMA 20 and 4 for LVMA 21, including the WINNER for "OUTSTANDING FILM SCORE OF 2019! He also appeared on the main stage at Penn's Peak for the 2015 Dream Come True Telethon.

In addition to composing and producing his own music, Daimon released a novel in 2004 entitled “Embrace of the Sun: In Shadows,” that also featured a full length companion soundtrack. He is currently working on a new novel about life in Slatington, PA back in the late 1800’s.
